The Black Vinyl Special edition.
Recorded at the legendary Black Heart in 2019, “You May Struggle To Hear Me Above The Crunch Of My Enemies Skulls” is a vinyl exclusive stand-up comedy show from the mind and mouth of Ed Gamble. Totally improvised across two sweaty nights in Camden, it captures live comedy in its purest form. Mainly, though, it’s being released so Ed can pretend he is in a heavy metal band. Ed’s body on the cover art is not accurate at time of writing.
Stand-up comedian Ed Gamble is known as a regular on Mock the Week (BBC2) and for being the co-creator and co-host of the hugely successful mega-hit podcast Off Menu with James Acaster. The podcast was an instant success, leaping to the top of the charts when released in 2018, and has consistently topped the iTunes and UK Comedy Podcast charts since.

An intimate and wildly entertaining memoir of a life lived through food, from comedian, Off Menu podcast host and food obsessive, Ed Gamble.
The hilarious memoir from comedian, Off Menu host and Great British Menu judge, Ed Gamble.
From a young age, Ed Gamble's immaculate bibs and extremely dirty nappies hinted at his capacious appetite. Before he could walk, Ed already knew that he preferred poached salmon to puree, that celery was a calorie-sapping waste of time, and that mashed potatoes should be made with lashings of butter.
Whilst he might ordinarily have been upset by the calls of 'precocious little sh*t' coming from his family, he was too busy stuffing his gob and staging rebellions against the patronising list of misery that is a children's menu.
In Glutton, Ed shares a relatable buffet of experiences and stories from a life lived through food. From the trials of being a diabetic with a sweet tooth to his teenage battles with obesity, to the joy of cooking and the power of food to bring us together, this is a wonderful, hilarious and heart-warming memoir of a delightful obsession.
